Liam Lawson is "probably" seeking talks with his Racing Bulls team after a surprise attack from team-mate Arvid Lindblad in the Austrian Grand Prix.
Throughout the weekend, Lawson and Lindblad were regularly the fifth-best team in the running order behind Mercedes, Ferrari, Red Bull, and McLaren, taking ninth and 10th on the grid for the 71-lap race.
In the race, the two finished in the positions they started, with both Lawson and Lindblad scoring points for the fourth consecutive grand prix weekend.
However, Lawson was unhappy after being attacked by Lindblad after being told to manage the brakes on the car, which had already caused the retirements of both Cadillacs.
Reflecting, the New Zealander said he would "probably" be seeking talks over how the situation was allowed to unfold.
"The first few laps were very, very hot, and it was just coming through the cockpit, but it was head down after that, and from there, it was all good," Lawson told media, including RacingNews365.
"We had a strategy and executed that in the first stint, and then we were trying to manage. I was told to manage the brakes, and I wouldn't be attacked.
"I was, so it was not exactly planned, so I just made sure to stay close in that second stint, and made the pass again."
When asked if the confusion was something which needed to be discussed, Lawson said: "Probably, I would think so."
For his part, Lindblad reported that there were no instructions from the pit-wall not to attack Lawson and that he got "stuck in."
"I am happy with the race, it is double points for the team, so overall it is a good weekend," he began.
"I gave it a good go and at the start of the second stint, got ahead of him, and I was ahead for the whole of the second stint, but then the team boxed me one lap earlier for the final stop.
"So he came out ahead, undercut me, and with new tyres, so I saw that coming, I thought they were going to do that, but it is fine, it doesn't really matter.
"I had some fun, I got stuck in, and I think I did a good race."
