Liam Lawson has aired frustrations about being stripped of his Miami Grand Prix points finish and a technical problem on his Racing Bulls car in qualifying.
Lawson crossed the line in eighth place in the Sprint to bag his first point of the season, but was placed under investigation for colliding with Fernando Alonso, and tipping the Aston Martin into the concrete barrier at Turn 12.
The stewards handed Lawson a five-second time penalty as he dropped to 13th in the final classification, before taking 15th on the grid for the grand prix itself - hampered by a battery issue.
Reflecting, the Kiwi, who was out-qualified by team-mate Isack Hadjar in 11th, was frustrated.
"I'd rather be in the points and not have the penalty, but there is nothing I can do about that now," Lawson told media including RacingNews365.
"Not really, but it is not my decision," he then replied when asked if he agreed with the decision.
As for his qualifying, Lawson expressed anger in the car at a battery problem, which he labelled "frustrating."
"We were dropping power through the run, just trying to fight it and fix it," he said.
"I don't know what the issue is, but it is frustrating, and we made a good step with the car balance, so it is a shame the issue cost us.
"We had a strong Sprint race, so we'll try again."
