First practice ahead of this weekend's Dutch Grand Prix was red-flagged just over 10 minutes into the session after Kimi Antonelli beached his Mercedes in the gravel.
It was an eventful start to the first F1 session since the summer break, with Lewis Hamilton having spun in the opening minutes on entry to Turn 3.
Hamilton avoided the gravel and safely continued, before Red Bull's Yuki Tsunoda spun a few minutes later on the entry to Turn 10.
Tsunoda spun into the gravel but managed to escape and return to the pit lane, something Antonelli was unable to do.
Mercedes' teenage sensation suffered from major oversteer as he entered Turn 8, forcing him off the circuit and into the gravel, where he became beached.
Due to Antonelli's car having needed to be recovered, he is unable to continue in the session.
