Lewis Hamilton has been handed a five-second time penalty in the Monaco Grand Prix after being judged to have been speeding in the pit lane.
The Ferrari driver came into the pits on Lap 29 of 78 to change tyres from second place, behind Kimi Antonelli and ahead of Charles Leclerc.
However, he will now struggle to finish ahead of his team-mate, who has also pitted.
Hamilton was caught out by the pit limit line at the entrance, carrying too much speed on entry, with the pit lane speed limit set at a lower-than-usual 60kph in Monaco.
The seven-time F1 drivers' champion is unlikely to come in again, so he is expected to have five seconds added to his race time.
However, as of Lap 37, he holds a 13-second advantage over the Monegasque driver.
