Lando Norris has etched his name into the Formula 1 history books by winning the 2025 world championship, becoming the 35th F1 driver to clinch a title.

Norris entered the year as many people's favourite for the championship following his strong end to last year's campaign.

Tearful Lando Norris voices pride over 'long journey' to F1 title success

Lando Norris spoke through tears as he hailed the “long journey” he has endured with McLaren en route to becoming the world champion.

Norris entered the Abu Dhabi race with a 12-point lead over Max Verstappen and only had to finish third to ensure he walked away with the title.

The FIA has explained why Lando Norris avoided a costly penalty in the title-deciding Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.

After his pit-stop, Norris was attempting to pass Red Bull's Yuki Tsunoda for position as Tsunoda attempted to hold Norris up to aid the quest of team-mate Max Verstappen to win the title.

Max Verstappen fires 'stupid grin' remark after Spain regret question

Max Verstappen fired back at a journalist after missing out on the 2025 F1 drivers' title, following a question over whether he regretted his red mist moment in Barcelona.

Verstappen converted pole position into victory to win the season-ending Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, although he fell two points short of the title after Lando Norris finished in third.
