Lando Norris is facing a pit-lane start at the Chinese Grand Prix following a late issue on his McLaren F1 car.
Norris failed to make it out of the pit-lane before the pit-exit closed to make his way around to the dummy grid, with this meaning that he must start from the pit-lane, if he can even start the grand prix.
McLaren had reported that an issue with the electrics had triggered the removal of the floor of the car and a number of parts being checked.
The team had believed that the issue had been fixed, but the world champion failed to make it from the garage.
If he does start the race, Norris will do so from the pit-lane.
