Lando Norris has escaped a costly time penalty in the Abu Dhabi GP after passing Yuki Tsunoda off-track.
Tsunoda was attempting to hold Norris up to aid the title challenge of team-mate Max Verstappen on the main straight, and weaved aggressively as Norris drew alongside.
Norris was forced off the track to avoid contact, with both incidents placed under investigation.
Tsunoda received a five-second time penalty for forcing Norris off the track, whilst Norris escaped sanction as he had passed another driver off the track, but because he was forced off.
On Lap 32 of 58, Norris is in world championship-winning position in third, with team-mate Oscar Piastri leading from Verstappen, but is yet to stop.
Norris only requires third place to win the title, with the Ferrari of Charles Leclerc in fourth proving troublesome for Norris.
