Jake Dennis has urged that he and Andretti remain "level-headed" after a statement victory in Formula E's São Paulo E-Prix season-opener.
It was one of Dennis' most dominant displays since he was crowned world champion in the summer of 2023, with the Briton having endured two difficult campaigns since.
Dennis progressed to the final duel in qualifying and was beaten by Porsche's Pascal Wehrlein; however, a three-place grid penalty for the German promoted the Andretti driver to pole position.
An excellent strategy saw him convert pole into victory, with his winning margin likely having been several seconds had rookie Pepe Martí not triggered a late red flag after a huge accident.
Nevertheless, it was a supreme display by the 30-year-old, who is the initial leader of the drivers' standings after the first round.
Asked by RacingNews365 if it was the perfect start to the new season, Dennis replied: "I mean, as starts go, yeah, it doesn't get much better than that. I didn't expect to win that race really; starting from pole, it was always going to be a bit of a lottery.
"But we did well. We led when it mattered. We had a good strategy, and it was going to be a dominant win towards the end with the attack mode remaining, which I had left after taking the lead.
"But in the end, obviously, there was a small red flag which put everyone back on the same level field. But ultimately we came home with 25 points."
Despite the dominant performance in Brazil, Dennis knows not to get carried away. At the start of 2024, he stormed to a stunning victory in Diriyah by 13 seconds, before enduring a horrific run of form.
"A win is always super crucial," added Dennis. "But I don't want to get ahead of ourselves. We won in Diriyah by 13 seconds a couple of years ago, and we weren't that competitive.
"So we just need to stay level-headed, keep working hard over these next few months, and I'm sure we'll be there when it comes to London."
