Isack Hadjar has demanded that Red Bull find fixes for "stupid little things" which impacted his United States GP after a mixed weekend.
After a poor Friday, which he branded a "disaster" as he struggled for balance and feeling in the RB22, Hadjar rebounded to qualify in third place for the grand prix, 0.036s behind team-mate Max Verstappen in second.
In the race, a poor launch for Hadjar dropped him behind both Ferraris of Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton, with the French racer also dropping behind Lando Norris's McLaren in the final results for a sixth-place finish.
His efforts were enough to see Red Bull leapfrog McLaren into third place in the constructors, with the two teams level on points, with Red Bull ahead on countback with four second places to McLaren's two, as both have 355 points and two grand prix wins apiece.
However, when asked for his reflections on the up-and-down Austin weekend, after his struggles on Friday and then third in qualifying, Hadjar declared that the team must "nail" the "stupid little things."
"Friday was a total mess, and my race pace was not good, and we turned some things around in FP3 and in qualifying, we had a good car," he began to media, including RacingNews365.
"The race pace [on Sunday] was good, and the hard part of it, we nailed, but the little stupid things, the little details, we need to nail them as well."
Adding further detail on these areas, Hadjar pinpointed the ongoing radio issues both cars are suffering from and the long-standing clutch and start problems.
"At the moment, it is the little things we can't do," he said.
"I have a poor radio; I don't even know what is happening. I drop the clutch, and it is a nightmare, so if we fix these two [issues], we might be on the podium.
"It is the hardest things it seems like we can do, and the silly things we can't."

Stuck in the wrong mode
Hadjar also revealed that following his pit-stop and move to the hard tyres, his RB22 machine became stuck in the wrong engine mode - something that was unable to be changed once he rejoined the race.
"Exiting the pits, I was stuck in the pit-stop throttle map, and you don't want to drive like that," he said.
"The pace on the hard was pretty good, but I was stuck with the pit-stop throttle map and from the second lap already, this was the issue.
"Honestly, what tyres [I had on] was the least of my issues, and I had a drivability problem, and then you can put the wet tyres on, and it is not going to change anything."
