Lewis Hamilton ended his F1 win drought on Sunday in Barcelona as he outpaced his former team Mercedes to climb to the top step of the podium.
It marked his first win as a Ferrari driver and continued his strong start to the season, having claimed three podiums in the first six rounds.
Hamilton moved into second place in the standings last time out in Monaco, a position he has retained after the race in Canada.
However, with championship leader Kimi Antonelli suffering a shock retirement, Hamilton's win moved him 41 points behind the Italian in the drivers' championship.
While the opening segment of the season has largely been controlled by Mercedes, Ferrari's successful upgrade package in Spain has left some wondering if Hamilton can have a say in the title fight.
