Lewis Hamilton kicked off his 2026 F1 season at the Barcelona shakedown, getting behind the wheel on Tuesday afternoon.
However, there were some changes made to his inner circle this year as Ferrari confirmed Riccardo Adami would no longer act as Hamilton's race engineer this year.
The Italian squad has not yet announced who will replace Adami, stating it would be declared “in due course”.
It means that Hamilton is without a race engineer at the start of pre-season testing, with Bryan Bozzi, the engineer of team-mate Charles Leclerc, carrying out duties in Barcelona.
Former F1 driver Karun Chandhok stated his “alarm bells” were ringing over the situation, highlighting the importance of Hamilton establishing a healthy relationship with his race engineer.
But do you think the delay of the appointment will hinder Hamilton?
