The Italian Grand Prix has been brought to a halt at Monza after Charles Leclerc suffered a major crash early on in the race.
Leclerc was battling with Oscar Piastri for fourth place when he lost control of his car out of the final corner.
After attempting to correct the slide, he then speared the other direction and through the gravel trap before making heavy contact with the barrier.
The Monegasque driver was able to climb out of his car unassisted before he took a seat on the ground behind the barrier.
Race control then opted to deploy a red flag to get the car moved away and the barrier repaired.
After the doctors arrived on the side, they walked Leclerc to the medical car, with the 28-year-old able to do so on his own feet.
The incident occurred just a couple of minutes after Leclerc's team-mate Lewis Hamilton took issue with his defensive driving into Turn 1.
Hamilton felt he was pushed wide by Leclerc as they went side by side through the first corner, which caused the seven-time champion to slip down the order.
