The Goodwood Festival of Speed returns for its 2023 edition with four days of motoring fever. A range of motoring icons will take to the famous hill climb inside and on top of the best of machinery past and present, from road cars of the future to decades-old F1 cars - Goodwood has it all! But how can you watch from home if you aren't lucky enough to hold a ticket?
How to watch the 2023 Goodwood Festival of Speed
Viewers in the United Kingdom will be able to tune into a YouTube live stream courtesy of Sky Sports F1 across all four days. The channel will broadcast the hill climb shootout on Sunday live on television, with coverage starting from 13:30 BST. For those outside the UK, Goodwood's own YouTube channel will also provide a live stream service on YouTube, ensuring you won't miss any of the action!
What time does the shootout start?
Goodwood's famous hill climb shootout pits racing drivers in machinery old and new in a competitive blast for ultimate pace. A record was set last year for the fastest run up the hill, with Max Chilton setting a 39.081sec run in the McMurtry Speirling to dispose of Nick Heidfeld's time in the McLaren MP4-13, which previously held the shootout record. The time was quick enough to beat Romain Dumas' outright record set in shootout practice in the Volkswagen ID-R in 2019.
