Christian Horner believes Red Bull can win every race this season as Max Verstappen earned their 100th Formula 1 victory in the Canadian Grand Prix. In a comfortable display from the World Champion, Red Bull became just the fifth team in F1 history to record a century of Grand Prix wins after Ferrari, McLaren, Mercedes and Williams as the Dutchman took his 41st career win - equalling the tally of Ayrton Senna. It was Red Bull's 100th win in their 355th race, coming just 14 years after their first at the 2009 Chinese Grand Prix - with Horner admitting that it is a possible for them to make history and win every race this season - something which has never been done before in the World Championship.
Horner's admission
"We take things one race at a time and I don't think you should let your mind drift too far into the future, so many things can go wrong," Horner told Sky Sports F1 after Red Bull's ninth straight win, stretching back to Abu Dhabi 2022. "Can we [win every race?], yes, will we? Who knows? There's so many variables in this game and we just take things one race at a time. "The whole team is doing an incredible job, Max is driving out of his skin as well at the moment, so collectively, the group have done a tremendous job. "To get a century of victories is an incredible achievement for all the people back at the factory that put in all the long hours. "100 races is a lot, but 100 wins is 27% of all the races that we've entered. "Max has been sensational this weekend - it was a tricky race for him today because of the tyre temperatures - I think for all the guys it was tough because it was quite cool and the tyres weren't in a happy window."
