The FIA is set to lose deputy race director Claire Dubbelman, who is taking up a position at the Saudi Arabian national motorsport federation.
According to Dutch publication NU.nl, Dubbelman is departing the international motorsport body after serving as F1 deputy race director for several seasons.
The Dutchwoman made history by becoming the first woman to receive an FIA race director super license to lead an F1 race. However, this has yet to happen, as current race director Rui Marques has not been absent.
During her career in motorsport, Dubbelman previously worked as manager of the European Formula 3 Championship.
She joined the FIA in 2017 and was promoted to F1 deputy race director in 2024, while also taking on a role within the championship's sporting department.
Dubbelman is reportedly moving to the Saudi capital, Riyadh, to join the Saudi Arabian motorsport federation, one of the organisers of the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix.
