Lewis Hamilton and Kevin Magnussen have both been summoned to the Formula 1 stewards after a near-miss in Miami Grand Prix qualifying.
In Q1, Hamilton was approaching Turn 17, with Haas driver Magnussen on the racing line, forcing Hamilton into the wall to avoid rear-ending the Dane.
Hamilton briefly pitted for a front wing check, and returned to the track with Magnussen qualifying a stunning fourth for Haas after the late red flag with Hamilton down in 13th after a poor session for Mercedes.
Both drivers were called to see the stewards at 17:30 local time in Miami (22:30 UK) for breaches of Articles 33.4 and 37.5 of the sporting regulations.
This covers cars being driven "unnecessarily slowly or in a manner deemed potentially dangerous" and drivers who "unnecessarily impeded" others.
