Lewis Hamilton has described his experience of driving the new 2025 Ferrari F1 car for the first time as "emotional." After the livery of the new machine was launched during the F1 75 Live event in London on Tuesday evening, Hamilton, Charles Leclerc, and boss Fred Vasseur flew to Italy overnight to officially launch the car itself. At Fiorano, Hamilton and Leclerc both got the grips with the new car, which RacingNews365 technical analyst Paolo Filisetti believes features some "radical" features as the Scuderia attempts to mount a title challenge in 2025. Speaking to select media including RacingNews365 following the running before pre-season testing next week, Hamilton was invited to offer a one-word response for his thoughts on getting behind the wheel for the first time. "I don't have a lot of Italian words, but molto bene," he replied, after a prompt from Ferrari's PR officer, signalling the test was "very good." "[It was] emotional." Then expanding on his feelings, Hamilton declared he was at "home." "I've only been here a month, and so I'm still acclimatising into a completely new car, a completely new way of working, but everyone's bent over backwards in this team to make me feel welcome," he added. "I really feel at home. I know I'm exactly where I'm supposed to be. It feels natural, it feels it feels right." How do you think Lewis Hamilton will get on at Ferrari in 2025?
