Lewis Hamilton has issued a warning to go-karters about the risks of not attending school simply to practice racing. 

The costs of go-karting and junior categories have risen sharply in recent years, with an F2 season estimated to be in the region of £1 million. Most drivers do not reach that level due to a lack of funding.

Lawson reveals Horner F1 seat guarantee

Liam Lawson has shared that Christian Horner gave him his word that he would race in F1 this season when Daniel Ricciardo returned from injury last year.

Ahead of the United States Grand Prix, the 22-year-old has replaced the Australian at RB for the remainder of 2024.

Schumacher offers Verstappen and Hamilton 'walk-on-water' comparison

Ralf Schumacher has underlined a growing distinction between Lewis Hamilton and Max Verstappen, whilst arguing there was a time when both appeared to be able to "walk on water" in F1.

Speaking to Formel1.de, the German used the example of modern-day F1's two main protagonists when discussing his relationship with - and the comparisons to - his older brother, seven-time F1 drivers' champion Michael Schumacher.

Lawson has been handed his greatest career test by Red Bull

Liam Lawson’s long-awaited return to the cockpit of an F1 car will be realised this weekend when he steps back into the seat at RB at the United States Grand Prix.

For the second time in his short F1 career, the New Zealander has replaced Daniel Ricciardo - but unlike the previous occasion presented through driver injury, Lawson’s second call-up is a direct change based on performance.

Liam Lawson returns to F1 this weekend after a year-long wait for his second chance after making a fundamental change.

Lawson was thrown into F1's deep end last year with a five-race cameo in deputising for Daniel Ricciardo after the Australian broke a bone in his left hand in several places in practice for the Dutch Grand Prix.
