Haas still waiting on word about livery

Despite reports that Haas have been cleared by the World Anti Doping Agency to compete in the 2021 F1 season using their current livery, it looks as though the matter remains unresolved at this time.

Question marks still surround Haas' livery for the 2021 Formula 1 season with the World Anti Doping Agency stating they are still looking into the matter. When Haas launched their car for the 2021 Formula 1 season the VF-21, many were surprised to see a livery that looked remarkably like the colours of the Russian flag . Added to the mix was the fact that the team pinged the radar of WADA, as Russian athletes have been banned from international competition after a previous violation at the 2014 Winter Olympics One of the repercussions of the decision is that Haas driver Nikita Mazepin will not be allowed to race under the Russian flag as that would be a violation of the proposed penalty which is in effect till 2022. Despite the above Haas, who's primary sponsor is Uralkali, a Russian chemical company owned by Dmitri Mazepin, Nikita's father, decided to run a red, white and blue colour scheme that looks a lot like the design found on the Russian flag which triggered the investigation. RacingNews365.com has learned that WADA have yet to reach a decision on whether the livery for the upcoming Formula 1 season despite reports claiming otherwise.
