Haas have kicked off the Formula 1 'launch season' by revealing the first shots of their new car for the sport's overhauled technical regulations.
Although not an official launch event, Haas presented how the VF-22 will look via a selection of studio render images.
It is the first car to emerge from Haas' new design office - led by Technical Director Simone Resta - next to the Ferrari factory in Maranello, with F1's 'ground effect' aerodynamic concept, bigger wheels and various other changes taking effect.
The livery is largely an evolution of the clean white, blue and red scheme introduced last season – the corporate colours of title sponsor Uralkali. Also included on the livery are partners such as 1&1, IONOS, Under Armour, and Tricorp, while Haas Automation remain emblazoned on the side of the car.
Haas to launch the real VF-22 at pre-season testing
RacingNews365.com understands that Haas will stage a physical launch on the opening day of the first pre-season test session in Barcelona (23 February), an approach the team have adopted every year since entering F1 in 2016.
Haas - which finished at the foot of the F1 standings in 2021, as they focused on the development of their 2022 car - will field an unchanged driver line-up of Mick Schumacher and Nikita Mazepin this year.
