The last time the series arrived at the Indy road course was as part of the Month of May, where the Indy Grand Prix preceded the Indianapolis 500.
Spaniard Palou was victorious on that occasion, though Arrow McLaren filled out three of the top five positions with Pato O'Ward and Alexander Rossi on the podium and Felix Rosenqvist finishing behind Christian Lundgaard.
