IndyCar heads to the Indianapolis Motor Speedway road course for the second time this season as part of its double-header with NASCAR.
Chip Ganassi Racing's Alex Palou enters the weekend with an 84-point advantage over Team Penske's Josef Newgarden in the Drivers' standings, though it is Kyle Kirkwood who enters the event as the series' latest winner.
IndyCar heads to Tennessee this weekend for the third Music City Grand Prix, held on the streets of Nashville.
The last time the series arrived at the Indy road course was as part of the Month of May, where the Indy Grand Prix preceded the Indianapolis 500.
Spaniard Palou was victorious on that occasion, though Arrow McLaren filled out three of the top five positions with Pato O'Ward and Alexander Rossi on the podium and Felix Rosenqvist finishing behind Christian Lundgaard.
