Denny Hamlin cruised to victory in the NASCAR Cup Bristol Night Race as reigning champion Joey Logano was eliminated from the Playoffs.
Logano was caught up in an accident on Lap 262 as an unwitting bystander with Corey Lajoie hitting his #22 machine and putting the 2022 champion out of the race.
Fellow Cup champion Kevin Havick and Daytona 500 winner Ricky Stenhouse Jr were also eliminated along with Michael McDowell meaning Harvick's final season will not end with a second title.
Hamlin beat Kyle Larson to ensure he booked his place in the quarter-finals of the Playoffs which begin next week as the final 12 include Bubba Wallace and Tyler Reddick of 23XI Racing.
Regular season champion Martin Truex Jr made it through as the final 12 includes eight non-champions with only Truex, Larson, Keselowski and Kyle Busch remaining.
