Daniil Kvyat believes one potential reason behind Max Verstappen's form in recent years in F1 is down to the environment Red Bull has created.
Verstappen has won 55 grands prix and four world titles since the start of 2021, including a season-record 19 wins in 2023 and crushed a host of team-mates in the process.
Neither Sergio Perez, Liam Lawson, or now Yuki Tsunoda have been able to match the Dutchman for performance, with Tsunoda only scoring seven points in the five races since his promotion in Japan - three of which came in the Miami Sprint.
Reflecting on Vestappen's situation, Kvyat felt much of his dominance comes from the environment Red Bull has created around him..
"The Red Bull situation is a bit of a mystery," Kvyat exclusively told RacingNews365.
"I believe a driver can make the difference, but of course, he's been doing a top-level job for many, many, many years now, and he continues to do so.
"Red Bull has been very good at creating an environment for him that is extremely friendly and extremely his.
"The Red Bull is not a slow car; it is a very fast car, but it is a very difficult car.
"The teams know better and there are a lot of details as to how an F1 car operates, but to extract the peak performance out of the set-up, is always tricky."
