Former Red Bull F1 driver Daniil Kvyat has been confirmed as part of DS Penske's line-up for the Berlin Formula E rookie test in a fortnight.

It will mark his latest outing in the all-electric series, having driven in previous FE rookie tests – his most recent outing was February's rookie session in Jeddah.

In Jeddah, he also represented DS Penske, although at the Berlin Tempelhof Airport circuit he will be partnered by Nikita Bedrin, currently racing in Formula 3 for AIX Racing.

Bedrin has also joined the Penske driver development programme, continuing the team's push to support young talent.

"I’m incredibly excited to join DS Penske for the Berlin Rookie Test," said the 19-year-old. "It’s a great opportunity to experience Formula E up close and work with such a forward-thinking and competitive team.

"I’m grateful to be part of the Penske Driver Development Program, it is a huge milestone in my career. I am thankful for the trust the team has placed in me and I can’t wait to get started."

DS Penske's confirmation of its rookie test pairing falls on the same day that Mahindra revealed that Formula 2 star Kush Maini will again represent the Indian outfit.
