Di Montezemolo had supposedly bought a stake in the manufacturer, investing a reported sum of $4,000,000 in the belief it would match Ferrari's current value in the near future. However, RacingNews365 understands that there has been no investment made by di Montezemolo into Stroll's company, despite the connections between the duo. Stroll was an investor in fashion brand Tommy Hilfiger when it was a partner of Ferrari .
