FIA reveal special first-time achievement in Monaco

While plenty of action has been happening on track during the Monaco Grand Prix weekend so far, a first has taken place behind the scenes.

The FIA has revealed that an all-female team of stewards monitored the F3 event for the first time during the Formula 1 Monaco Grand Prix weekend. With Formula 3 taking place alongside F1 and F2 on the streets of Monte Carlo, the team of women have been keeping an eye on the action in the category throughout. A photo shared by the FIA on social media shows the team, alongside the caption: "It's been a first all-female #FIA @Formula3 Stewards room for the #MonacoGP weekend #WomenInMotorsport" The weekend has marked the third round of the 2023 F3 season, with Josep Maria Marti taking victory in the Sprint Race while Gabriele Mini was victorious in the Feature Race. Gabriel Bortoleto remains at the top of the standings. A further six rounds will follow in the remainder of the championship.
