Andretti has named Campbell Hobson as its new team principal, succeeding Roger Griffiths ahead of the 2026/27 Formula E season.
Griffiths will not leave the organisation. Instead, he moves into a senior advisory role supporting both Andretti Formula E and the wider TWG Motorsports portfolio.
The Briton has led Andretti's Formula E operation since the championship's very first season back in 2014, meaning his spell in charge spanned 12 campaigns. U
nder his watch, the team picked up 13 race wins, 46 podiums and a drivers' title with Jake Dennis in 2023, while navigating multiple generations of car and several manufacturer partnerships along the way.
Hobson takes over having already played a central role in the team's day-to-day running. The Australian worked closely alongside Griffiths overseeing operations, personnel and on-track performance, meaning the promotion is being framed as a natural step rather than a shake-up.
Jill Gregory, President of Andretti Global and chief operating officer of TWG Motorsports, explained the thinking behind the appointment.
"Campbell has been instrumental in the operation, and we are very happy to see him take this opportunity to lead the team," said Gregory.
"He knows the program inside and out, has the respect of the team and brings the leadership and competitive drive we need as we look toward the future."

Roger Griffiths feels 'right time' for leadership change
It is a significant change for Andretti, with Griffiths being one of the most recognisable figures in the Formula E paddock.
Griffiths reflected on his 12 years building the programme from scratch, and why now felt like the moment to step back from the day-to-day.
"Leading this team from the beginning has been one of the great privileges of my career, and I'm incredibly proud of what we've built," said Griffiths.
"After 12 seasons, this feels like the right time to pass the torch. Campbell has been a trusted part of our leadership for years and understands this organization at every level; he has earned this opportunity. I'm excited to support him while also contributing more broadly across Andretti and TWG Motorsports."
Gregory added that Griffiths' impact went well beyond the results sheet.
"Roger has been foundational to this program," said Gregory. "What he has built over 12 seasons extends well beyond results on track into an exceptional team and culture. This transition allows us to build on that foundation while continuing to benefit from Roger's experience and perspective in a broader capacity."
Hobson's first season in charge arrives at a pivotal moment for the team, with Formula E entering its Gen4 era. Andretti will field Jake Dennis and Felipe Drugovich again, now running as a customer outfit partnered with Nissan.
Hobson, for his part, said he was grateful for the opportunity and had big shoes to fill.
"It's an incredible privilege to take on the role of Team Principal," said Hobson. "I have tremendous respect for Roger and what he has built, and I'm grateful for the team's trust and this opportunity. We have a great group of people, a strong foundation and a lot of ambition for what comes next."
