Ferrari's Newey 'regret'

Ferrari was heavily-linked with Adrian Newey after his departure from Red Bull was announced.

But he ultimately did not swap Milton Keynes for Maranello - instead doing so for Silverstone and Aston Martin. 

One world champion Newey has worked with during his long and successful career believes the Scuderia should be "licking its wounds" at not signing him.

Ricciardo's exile

Daniel Ricciardo is now firmly in F1 exile - but arguably, that began at the end of 2022 when McLaren jettisoned him. 

The damage was already done for the Australian by then, as details of just how he was destroyed at the team are analysed.

Schumacher's Red Bull theory

Red Bull has seen something of a brain drain this year with its chief technical officer, sporting director and head of strategy all leaving. 

It comes after the political tensions at the team at the start of the year involving the allegations and investigation into Christian Horner.

But Ralf Schumacher has put forward an alternate theory behind the departures of Adrian Newey, Jonathan Wheatley and Will Courtenay.
