Ferrari has learned its verdict from the F1 stewards following an investigation into an incident that occurred during the first free practice session.

Charles Leclerc returned to the pit lane following a run where his tyre pressures were altered whilst stationary in the garage and not following the prescribed procedure.

FIA technical delegate Jo Bauer noted this was against the regulations and referred the matter to the stewards.

Following an investigation, the stewards have opted to issue Ferrari a €5,000 fine for a breach of the procedures in technical directive 003.

In their investigation, the stewards found that TD003G point 2 g.ii allows for a tyre to be used more than once in a single session, but should a tyre pressure change be made, the temperatures of the tyres must first be obtained.

Ferrari did not do this for Leclerc's car, and in line with similar past incidents, a €5,000 fine was imposed.
