Ferrari has announced the extension of its long-standing partnership with Philip Morris International.
The two have been linked for over half a century, with the agreement also covering the Ferrari Challenge Trophy as well as the F1 race team.
As part of the new deal, the ZYN brand of Philip Morris International is to appear on the car's livery at selected races, including at this weekend's season-finale Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.
Ferrari has been unable to run branding from the cigarette brands of PMI since advertising rules were changed in the early 2010s, with 2011 being the last race under the official team name of 'Scuderia Ferrari Marlboro.'
"Ferrari has always valued partnerships built on innovation, responsibility and a vision oriented toward continuous improvement, with a forward-looking mindset," explained Lorenzo Giorgetti, Chief Racing Revenue Officer at Ferrari.
"Our renewed collaboration with PMI is a concrete expression of this approach and continues a relationship that has lasted for over fifty years, grounded in scientific progress and a long-term perspective.
"As PMI advances the development of smoke-free alternatives, we are proud to evolve together, uniting our shared values of excellence, discipline and innovation to drive progress both on and off the track."
