Esteban Ocon has joked he was left "pissed off" at the "incredible" race tactics used by Fernando Alonso in the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.
The Aston Martin driver claimed sixth place in Abu Dhabi to help the team secure seventh in the constructors', with Haas driver Esteban Ocon tucked up behind in seventh for a majority of the race.
During the 58 laps, Ocon, who has struggled since the Italian GP with the feel of the brakes aboard his Haas, described how Alonso was backing up the field in the tight final sector before ensuring he was tantalisingly out of reach in the DRS zones, leaving him both frustrated and in admiration.
"I am very happy to finish the season like that, but there is a bittersweet taste because in the last 10 races, we should have been strong like this, and it hurts that we've missed seventh in the constructors'," Ocon began to explain to media, including RacingNews365.
"Because of that, we couldn't beat Aston Martin, but we should have scored more points before; effectively, Fernando was too strong.
"He was managing extremely well in the tight part [in Sector 3], and we were all stuck behind him, and then he was pushing in the next four corners.
"That was opening enough of a gap for us not to overtake, so yeah, he knows all the tricks, and it pisses me off, but he is incredible.
"He is a legend in wheel-to-wheel racing, and we were not quick enough to get in front of him."

Ocon beat Lewis Hamilton to the flag by three seconds, keeping the works Ferrari behind, which he also did in Las Vegas, and praised the Briton's effort as a poor season concluded.
"It is not the first time it has happened, and it is very nice to be fighting with Lewis," he said.
"Obviously, it would be nice to be fighting for higher-up positions, but it was good for us to be able to keep him behind.
"Lewis showed a great comeback from where he started, and it showed his talent, and in a normal race, he should have finished in front of us."
