F1 has announced a new "global" and "family-friendly" deal with leading book publisher DK Books for a new collection.
The wide-ranging series of new books will focus on "gift, activity and educational" books, with the titles focusing F1's "rich history, iconic drivers, and growing cultural influence."
F1 reports a global fanbase of 830 million people, 42% of whom are female and 43% under the age of 35.
The new series of books, including The Official F1 Quiz Book will begin to launch later this year, with subsequent titles to include The Official F1 Activity Book and The Official F1 Colouring Book.
The titles have been specially designed to cater for the new younger fanbase F1 has tapped into in previous years, and also the traditional fanbase.
“As Formula 1’s global fanbase continues to grow and diversify, storytelling plays an increasingly important role in how fans connect with our sport," said F1's chief commercial officer, Emily Prazer.
"Our partnership with DK allows us to reach new audiences around the world by delivering highquality, accessible books, while creating a new and creative avenue to deepen engagement with fans of all ages."
The managing director of DK Books added that it felt like the "perfect" time to launch a partnership with F1.
“Everyone at DK is so excited to be working with Formula 1 on this brilliant range of books over the coming years," Mark Searle said.
"F1 is one of the biggest sports brands in the world and growing at an astonishingly fast pace – this feels like the perfect time to launch this range which will excite and delight fans new and old."
