Annually, Liberty Media hands out millions in prize money to the 10 — soon to be 11 — F1 teams.
RacingNews365 understands that 45 per cent of Formula 1's total revenue goes directly to the teams.
A portion of that, 75 per cent, consists of prize money, to be distributed via a descending percentage scale, while the rest consists of bonuses.
The pot intended for prize money, excluding bonuses, for 2025 is around $1.25 billion on total revenue of $3.7 billion.
The champion grabs 14 per cent of the prize pool, the number ten 6 per cent. This brings us to the figures below.
McLaren, as champion, takes home the largest amount, ahead of Mercedes, which jumped up from fourth in 2024.
Red Bull finished third among constructors, just like last year, with Ferrari falling behind from the runner-up spot.
Williams are the big movers, vaulting up from ninth to fifth, whilst Alpine dropped from sixth to tenth — and last.
When compared against how much each team won in 2024, McLaren is taking home significantly more than 12 months ago.
The figures below are approximate and rounded to whole millions.
