F1 fans are split over the idea that McLaren should now prioritise one of its drivers in the title fight amid a surge in form for Max Verstappen.
Verstappen has won three out of the last four grands prix, while McLaren is winless in the same period.
The Dutchman now sits just 40 points behind the championship leader Oscar Piastri with five rounds, including two sprint events, remaining in the campaign.
The emerging threat from Verstappen prompted RacingNews365 to ask you, the fans, if you believe McLaren must now prioritise one of its drivers.
Over 46 per cent of voters declared the team should back Piastri to see off the risk Verstappen is posing. Only six per cent of fans believe Norris should be favoured.
However, just under half of all voters do not believe McLaren should implement a new strategy and support just one of its entries.
31 per cent of these fans believe McLaren should not come to this conclusion at all this year, while almost 17 per cent highlighted it is still too early to make such a decision.
Next up on the F1 schedule is the Mexico City Grand Prix - an event McLaren last won in 1989.
