A majority of F1 fans would like to see Sebastian Vettel replace Helmut Marko at the Red Bull team in the future.

Marko has overseen Red Bull's junior programme since its inception, which has produced talents such as Vettel, Max Verstappen and Daniel Ricciardo.

The 82-year-old stated last month that he sees Vettel as his “ideal successor” as the head of the junior team.

Vettel has a long working relationship with Red Bull and won four F1 titles with the Milton Keynes-based squad from 2010 to 2013.

The German was asked about the possibility of stepping in to take over Marko's duties in the future and refused to rule out the move.

RacingNews365 asked you, F1 fans, if Vettel should take on the role when Marko opts to step away.

A massive 83 per cent of the respondents voted in favour of seeing Vettel move into the position, while only eight per cent believe there are better options out there.
