The first half of the 2022 F1 season has been a busy one on track, and it has also proved to be rather expensive off-track for some drivers, with 13 on the grid racking up hefty fines during the campaign so far.
Several drivers have been handed monetary punishments for incidents both on and off the circuit, and Sebastian Vettel has ended up with the biggest FIA bill to date.
The Aston Martin driver has been fined €35,900 in the first 13 races, though the majority of these fines are suspended.
Vettel walked out during the drivers' briefing in Austria, after which the FIA penalised him with a €25,000 cash penalty should he do anything similar during the rest of the season.
His scooter ride in Australia also proved pricey, coming with a €5,000 charge. Vettel additionally received fines for speeding in the pit lane and unsafe releases.
