When it comes the drivers on the F1 grid and their ages, there is certainly a wide gap in terms of who is the youngest and who is the oldest.
The age of the drivers varies greatly, with the youngest driver being born in 2000 while the oldest was born all the way back in 1979.
Who is the oldest driver on the F1 grid?
The oldest driver on the F1 grid is Kimi Raikkonen, with the Finn starting the season aged 41. His birthday falls on October 17, meaning he will be 42 by the time the 2021 season finishes. Despite his advanced years Raikkonen is showing no signs of slowing down having made his debut back in 2001 for Sauber, scoring points in his first race in Australia.
Joining him is Fernando Alonso, who will turn 40 by the time the 2021 F1 season is complete. The Spaniard returned to the grid with Alpine after sitting out the last two seasons. Like Raikkonen, he also made his debut back in 2001 while driving for Minardi.
Rounding out the podium is Mercedes star Lewis Hamilton. The seven-time world champion turned 36 in January as the Brit was born in 1985.

Just behind him is Lando Norris, with the McLaren stars birthday falling on November 13, 1999. He'll turn 22 this year.
After him comes the Haas duo of Mick Schumacher and Nikita Mazepin. Both drivers were born in 1999, with Mick being the younger of the two as his birthday falls on March 22 with the Russian's falling earlier in the month on March 2.
