Max Verstappen has ended the opening day of pre-season testing from Bahrain on top of the time sheets.
The Dutchman set a 1:31.344 to beat Lando Norris to the head of the standings by over one second.
Carlos Sainz finished in third place, edging out Daniel Ricciardo and Pierre Gasly who rounded out the top five.
