Carlos Sainz has taken pole position for the Italian Grand Prix, the fourth of his Formula 1 career.
Ferrari celebrated a 1-3 finish as Charles Leclerc was third, only 0.067s behind his teammate, while Max Verstappen very narrowly missed out on pole by just 0.013s.
Each of the top three drivers improved their laps during the final runs, but it was the Spaniard who prevailed to secure the top spot.
George Russell was fourth fastest in the leading Mercedes, heading Sergio Perez and Alexander Albon.
Oscar Piastri out-qualified teammate Lando Norris in seventh place, with the latter taking ninth.
Mercedes' Lewis Hamilton was lodged in between the two McLaren drivers, while Fernando Alonso rounded out the top 10.
