Max Verstappen recovered from a grid penalty to take victory in an Italian Grand Prix that ended under the Safety Car after Daniel Ricciardo's stricken McLaren was left in a dangerous position.
Charles Leclerc led the field away, but made an extra pit stop during a Virtual Safety Car period early in the race, and couldn't make up the time to overhaul Verstappen.
George Russell rounded out the podium places, with Nyck de Vries notably taking a fine ninth place on his Grand Prix debut.
