F1 2022 Italian Grand Prix - FP1 results

Ferrari-drivers Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz started the Italian Grand Prix weekend with a good result in the first free practice. At their home venue they clocked the fastest times of the session.

In the first free practice of the Italian Grand Prix, the home race of Ferrari, Charles Leclerc topped the timing sheet. Just 0.077s behind him Carlos Sainz took second place. A good start for Ferrari in their home race weekend.

Championship leader Max Verstappen clocked the fifth time in the first free practice in Monza. The Mercedes-drivers took third place (George Russell) and fourth place (Lewis Hamilton).
