Dutch Grand Prix 2022

F1 2022 Dutch Grand Prix - FP1 results

George Russell led a Mercedes one-two in Dutch GP FP1 as Max Verstappen hit problems.

Mercedes bounced back from a poor Belgian Grand Prix to lead a Dutch Grand Prix one-two in first practice, George Russell narrowly ahead.

Lewis Hamilton was 0.240s behind his teammate as Carlos Sainz Jr slotted in third at Zandvoort.

The McLaren's impressed with fourth and fifth as Lando Norris and Daniel Ricciardo enjoyed a strong start to their weekend.

Sergio Perez was only seventh, as Max Verstappen had an early bath after a transmission issue early in the session.

The home favourite ended FP1 in 19th place, ahead of only Nicholas Latifi.
