Sebastien Buemi has revealed that he is "not against" Formula E making potential changes to its race format, but is concerned that it could become "complicated".
The all-electric series remains keen to try and introduce attack charge for Season 11, which would see all drivers make a mandatory pit-stop for the charging technology to be used.
As reported by The Race, FE is considering introducing a new 'Golden Lap' scheme, which would see bonus points awarded to whichever driver is leading the race on any two random laps.
This is expected to be introduced into the championship's sporting regulations later in October, and could be implemented in some races.
It means FE could introduce two new features for its eleventh campaign, something Buemi is happy to try.
"Listen, I'm not against change, I'm not against trying new things," Buemi exclusively told RacingNews365.
"I'm happy to experiment, even if it ends up not adding too much. I don't think it's an issue.
"I think Formula E has been dynamic enough to implement changes, whenever needed. You know, when they realise, 'Okay, that's not good, we go back'. So why not?

Formula E changes 'complicated'
Whilst the Season 2 champion is open to trying all the new potential race features, the 35-year-old is concerned it could become "complicated".
This is the case for fans and drivers, as following a race could become difficult with how long an attack charge pit-stop is expected to take (90 seconds) and when exactly they happen.
On smaller circuits, drivers could be lapped, making it tricky to accurately follow, in particular for new viewers and those in attendance.
Attack charge will be tested again during pre-season testing in Valencia.
"Whether it starts to be a bit complicated? Yes, it could start to be a bit complicated," Buemi added.
"I do agree, because obviously, if you add the attack charge, it starts to be extremely complex to make sure you follow the rules in the first place.
"Because the moment you are allowed to stop and you're not allowed to stop depends on [so much], depends on which laps, then if you have to take attack mode as well, and if you have this golden lap stuff, it starts to be a lot of features.
"It might be a bit too much, but until we try for the first time, I think it's very difficult for me to really say, 'Okay, that's definitely too much', but it could be. I think I'm happy to try, but I think it could be slightly too much in a 45-minute race."
