A documentary that tells the story of Brawn GP's successful 2009 Formula 1 season will be released globally on November 15.

The four-part series, which is titled Brawn: The Impossible Formula 1 Story, will be narrated by Hollywood actor Keanu Reeves.

It will be released on Disney+ in the UK and Hulu in the USA.

Brawn GP was a late addition to the grid when Honda opted to leave the sport at the end of the 2008 campaign.

The team was purchased by Ross Brawn for a reported figure of £1. Brawn was the owner and Team Principal of the outfit and saved the jobs of hundreds of employees.

Despite having a much smaller budget compared to rivals, the Brawn squad shocked at the opening race when it locked out the front row with Jenson Button and Rubens Barrichello.

Briton Button went on to win the race and dominate the opening stage of the season before clinching the F1 title in Brazil later in the year.

Brawn also secured the Constructors' Championship before the team transitioned to Mercedes for the following campaign.

Button, as well as ex-team-mate Barrichello and team owner Brawn, will be part of the documentary, providing their insight into the historic campaign.

Reeves, who has attended several F1 races across the last number of years, has interviewed the key members of the team as part of the series.
