Oscar Piastri was involved in an early-race collision at the São Paulo Grand Prix following a safety car restart.

As he pulled to the inside of Turn 1 in an effort to overtake Kimi Antonelli, the Italian rookie also had to contend with the pressure of Charles Leclerc on his outside.

Contact was made between Piastri and Antonelli, with Leclerc picking up terminal damage after Antonelli's Mercedes was flung into the side of his car.

Piastri was ultimately deemed to be at fault by the F1 stewards and was handed a 10-second time penalty and two points on his super licence.

The Australian admitted he struggled to understand the penalty as he felt he was pinched by Antonelli, while Leclerc too acknowledged Antonelli should have been more proactive to avoid a collision.

But do you think Piastri was at fault? Did he deserve the 10-second time penalty, or should the stewards have declared it a racing incident?
