Nyck de Vries said it "hurts" to have his Formula 1 career end early after getting sacked by AlphaTauri midway through the season. In a statement on his Instagram page the Dutchman thanked Red Bull and AlphaTauri for the opportunity, adding that he plans to take a break from social media. This comes after De Vries manager dismissed a series of comments purporting to be from the Dutch driver, adding that the de Vries camp is considering legal action against those who posted the accusations.
