Christian Horner has stated he is in “no rush” to take on a new role in F1 following his return to the paddock at Silverstone this weekend.
The Briton arrived at the famous track hours before the start of the British Grand Prix, marking his first appearance in an F1 paddock in 12 months.
Horner was ousted from his position as Red Bull team principal just days after last year's Silverstone event.
He has since served a period of gardening leave and is now eligible to return to the sport in whatever opportunity is offered to him.
Horner has been linked with various projects, including at Aston Martin and Alpine - but the 52-year-old has stated he is not hurrying to commit to a new role.
"The great thing is that Formula 1 is in such a great place, and the racing's been super this year,” Horner told Sky F1.
“Stepping back and watching it from behind the scenes, the interest in Formula 1 is sky-high.
“So there's so much interest from people who want to get involved in Formula 1. We'll see. I'm in no rush.”
Horner has also been rumoured to be part of talks involving Chinese manufacturer BYD, who is reportedly exploring an F1 entry as a 12th team.
When asked about that possibility, Horner replied: "BYD. Huge entity, huge, huge, huge company. But there has been so much speculation.
“I think I've been [linked] to every team on the grid so far, so I'm just here to enjoy the racing."
