Charles Leclerc conceded ahead of the Belgian Grand Prix that wet weather remains a weakness for Ferrari, detailing it as an area its "really struggling".
The Monegasque qualified in third at Spa-Francorchamps in dry conditions; however, race day has already been tormented by persistent rainfall.
Formula 3 failed to truly get underway, with its feature race having been red-flagged and not restated whilst behind the safety car.
Formula 2 did manage to complete its feature race, which also took place in wet conditions.
Several drivers, including Lewis Hamilton, have already been confirmed for pit lane starts, allowing a change to a fully wet setup.
Rain has been a big problem for Ferrari all season, with Leclerc having been helpless during the wet British Grand Prix.
He noted after qualifying that his expectations for the race will only be decided following the opening laps, once he has understood how his car behaves.
"Wet weather, we were speaking about it in the last race weekend," said Leclerc. "I don't think it's a strength for our car at the moment.
"We are really struggling. But having said that, every weekend is different. We'll learn from the past and see what's possible tomorrow.
"I will only be able to tell after the first few laps to see where we are. But I'll try to look forward before looking in mirrors."
