A collision between Charles Leclerc and Lance Stroll triggered an early red flag just under 10 minutes into first practice ahead of the Monaco Grand Prix.
The red flag was required at the Circuit de Monaco to clear debris, scattered across the second half of the circuit by both drivers.
Leclerc went into the back of Stroll at the Grand Hotel hairpin after the Aston Martin driver suddenly cut back onto the racing line, having allowed Kimi Antonelli to overtake.
Stroll failed to hear his race engineer informing him of Leclerc quickly approaching, resulting in contact between the duo.
Leclerc suffered front wing and floor damage, whilst Stroll's diffuser was broken. It was not Leclerc's first incident in first practice, as he found himself down the Mirabeau escape road on his opening lap.
