Cadillac has lost its first-ever F1 points finish after Sergio Perez was handed a 10-second time penalty post-race.
The Mexican had finished in 10th place on the road after a 10-second time penalty for Nico Hulkenberg's Audi, but the result was in doubt following an investigation being launched for Perez being out of position on the late red-flag standing restart on the grid.
In the investigation, the stewards found that from video evidence, Perez's right front wheel was "clearly" outside of the starting box. Therefore, a 10-second time penalty was applied, dropping him to 15th and last.
It means that Fernando Alonso and Aston Martin have scored their first point of the season in 10th, thus moving Aston Martin clear of Cadillac, with both teams previously on zero points.
Elsewhere, Perez was handed a reprimand for a pre-race starting procedure infringement.
